What’s up with T-Mobile?

04Nov02

The Ericsson T68 has disappeared from T-Mobile’s product page. They’ve added the new Siemens M46, Motorola C332, Sony Ericsson T300, and Motorola V70. Not a single one has Bluetooth.

I’ve been itching for a new phone. I really want something svelte with Bluetooth and good RF performance. I checked out the Sidekick yesterday, it’s way too bulky for my tastes. The T68 fails on the RF front, and it’s no longer available anyway.

Sprint’s unlimited PCS Vision deal has been tempting me to switch carriers, but they don’t have any Bluetooth phones either. Amazon has the Treo 300 for $250 again, but if I were going to “settle” for a Palm OS phone it would have to be one of the upcoming tiny ones from Samsung or LG. Or cheaper before rebates. I hate waiting for rebates.

I just got a t616 and am quite happy with it… you might be able to find a t610 easier then the N. American t616.
