I got this “Launch Event Confirmation” e-mail from Microsoft yesterday. You may recall from last week that I was on the waiting list and seeking a Microsoft contact that could get me in.
The Windows Server 2003 and Visual Studio .NET 2003 Launch Event is almost here! This e-mail is to confirm your registration information. You’re registered for the Davie event being held on May 6 at the Signature Grand.
Please take a moment to view this short pre-event message and get the latest event details about special session tracks, giveaways, and prize information.

Sincerely,
The Windows Server 2003 and Visual Studio .NET 2003 Launch Team
Does this e-mail mean that I’m in, or is Microsoft just teasing me? It doesn’t mention the waiting list. The Microsoft Events site still says I am waitlisted.
