The newest Pocket PC on the block is the inexpensive iPAQ 1935, $199 after a $50 rebate offer from HP that ends next year. It’s basically an iPAQ 1910 updated for Pocket PC 2003, with a 203MHz Samsung chip. In other Pocket PC news, the T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone no longer has any rebates but Amazon’s price has dropped to $279.99.
Amazon’s Treo 270 and Treo 300 rebates have been bumped up by another $20, making them $29.99 and $129.99, respectively after rebates. The certain-to-be-discontinued-soon Sony PEG-NX70V dropped another $10 this week, to $309.88. That’s $60 and change less than sonystyle.com offers refurb units for. Raised to $339.88 on September 1.
The Palm Zire 71 and Palm m130 have dropped $20 to $259.99 and $159.99, respectively, following the expiration of Palm’s amazingly brief $20 rebate offer. Raised to $289.99 and $174.94, respectively, on September 1.
And finally, BlackBerries. Amazon has sweetened the BlackBerry 6210 from AT&T rebate to $250, making it just $99.99, while the Color Blackberry 7230 from T-Mobile is carrying a fresh $150 Amazon rebate offer that brings it to the European-like price of $249.99.
