Hurricane Ivan is one big scary storm. The National Hurricane Center is showing it as a strong Category 4 now, but this afternoon it was well into Category 5 territory and the 5-day track had it coming straight up the middle of Florida. Unless something happens that causes Ivan to weaken, wherever he goes will experience some serious pain.
I’ll make light of Category 2 storms, even Category 3, but once a storm crosses 150mph sustained winds I start to take it very seriously.
This year’s Hurricane Season has become extremely busy and we still have a long way to go…
I really need to get back to Europe. The weather may suck most of the time but at least it’s consistent and very rarely severe.
