It took an entire month of trying, but I am finally done with Network Solutions. My first domain transferred to GoDaddy almost immediately. The other domain — this one, ntwizards.net — was more troublesome. I never received a transfer confirmation e-mail from Netsol — after submitting the transfer request twice — so I started digging around in the Netsol account manager. It turned out that the account they set me up with had access to do just about nothing to that domain, and while whois was listing my new e-mail address, everything behind the scenes was still using the old address.
D’oh!
Three more rounds of e-mailing Netsol finally got it straightened out. Everything is done on their end, now I just have to wait for the transfer approval to make it back to GoDaddy. By morning at the latest it will all be done.
I feel like I should be throwing a party to celebrate this colossal achievement.
