Installing and Securing VOIP With Linux — a brief story of using Asterisk to provide PBX services for two remote branch offices and integration with the legacy PBX at HQ. This is exactly the type of scenario that will make VOIP bigger than Linux and drive Asterisk adoption. Cheaper dialtone with more features isn’t going to take VOIP very far. Solving real world telecom problems for demonstrably less cost is the path to riches.
