T-Mobile finally got me provisioned on their e-mail system. Attachments do work. HTML mail in my Exchange mailbox at work show up as raw HTML via IMAP, I suspect that Exchange is stripping the text/plain portion of the messages. Via normal POP / IMAP accounts it does display plain text.

29Dec04Invites again
29Dec04I have around 10 Gmail invites to get rid of, leave a comment here if you are in need (Typekey registration required).
Crippled?
28Dec04I can’t get MobileAtom J2ME, MIDlog, or Azure weblog clients to work on my A630. The latter two support Movable Type, tail‘ng my server logs I see that a request never arrives. I do get the “Allow network access” prompt.

Dumping
27Dec04I didn’t buy the LCD television I wanted for Christmas because I kept reading that prices will decline after the holidays.
Mom is loving her new iBook, but the first words out of her mouth were Is it IBM compatible? Hell no, and that was a selling point! It’s no longer safe for ordinary users to […]

iBook Cometh
16Dec04For the first time in the history of me ordering stuff from Amazon they actually managed to ship a “Usually ships in 24 hours” item within 24 hours. The iBook is cute and positively dwarfed by my Inspiron 8600. My neighbor at the office says these things grow on you, so I should probably get […]
Did hell freeze over?
15Dec04The morning weather girl is reporting temperatures in the mid-40s with wind chill in the high 30s. I guess that’s warm compared to the rest of the country right now, but for South Florida that is freaking cooold. My next Christmas present for myself will be a new jacket…
