I didn’t buy the LCD television I wanted for Christmas because I kept reading that prices will decline after the holidays.

Mom is loving her new iBook, but the first words out of her mouth were Is it IBM compatible? Hell no, and that was a selling point! It’s no longer safe for ordinary users to access the Internet from Windows PCs. Apple is missing out on a huge marketing opportunity. I can’t remember the last time I saw a Macintosh commercial.

The Asterisk Management Portal now supports IAX / SIP trunking.

I called T-Mobile last week about my e-mail troubles. It’s still broke. I am ticket number 390,000. Phooey on Motorola for not putting stand-alone apps on the A630. WAP is so Y2K, and it sucked back then too.

But sometimes I do miss my Nokia 7110 with it’s big squishy buttons…

Brad Choate published some PHP code six months ago for serving different content to search bots. His detection routines are much better than what I’m doing, must remember to borrow them sometime…

I’ll be flying out to Houston after work on Wednesday, celebrating the New Year with some friends that moved out there last year. I’ve never been to Texas. Is there anything I must try / see / do? Should I bring a gun?
