Someone brought their son to work today as a Career Day thing. Our facilities are pretty darned bland, so stopping by office was probably a highlight. “Look at the robot”, his mother said, pointing to the Robosapien. I turned it on and hit the Dance button. The kid giggled for a moment, then he noticed the Kinder Egg toys. He spent the next ten minutes playing with little plastic toys that come inside $1 chocolates that I already ate.
I’m not sure if I should be thinking Right on! or wondering What the heck is wrong with kids today?
Clearly, robots aren’t as cool with the 8-12 crowd as they used to be…
