I picked up a Contour Design ShuttleXpress for possible use in my CarPC project. Touchscreens are great and all, but buttons and knobs let you keep your eyes on the road. The Xpress comes with PC & Mac software offering full customization on a per-application basis, with the shuttle ring providing seven levels of adjustment in each direction plus transitions. It’s pretty sweet.
I’m not sure that there’s a good place to mount it in my car tho, it’s rather on the large side at roughly 4.25-inches diameter. May need to hack it apart…
