When I was shopping for car insurance I requested online quotes from pretty much every insurance company that I could name. One of them was AIG. I don’t remember exactly what happened that day, but I think their online process barfed on me right at the end. The quote never arrived in my e-mail and I was unable to retrieve the quote online because it needed some piece of information that would have been in the e-mail. I moved on and forgot about them…
A few minutes ago the quote arrived.
You could say “Better late than never.”
But if the quote had never come I wouldn’t never have remembered that they failed to deliver it in a timely fashion. I wouldn’t have written about it. And I probably would have asked for another quote in two months…
