I’m probably in the smallest of minorities here, but I actually preferred Google Video over YouTube. Google Video is far from perfect, and I’m sure that YouTube has some advantages, but these two screenshots demonstrate why I use Google Video for my videos:

Google’s video area is huge! It actually resizes to use the space available!

The YouTube video is tiny and it stays the same size no matter how large or small I make the browser window! Plus, YouTube doesn’t allow downloads, so very-low-quality streaming Flash is the only viewing option.
Of course, some genius apparently thinks that YouTube’s ownership of the streaming video market was due to their interface (as opposed to their poor screening of blatantly pirated material), so for some time Google Video has been testing this “new interface” that is incredibly YouTube-like:

Bleh! If this UI sticks, I’ll probably be taking my videos elsewhere. Self-hosting Flash videos doesn’t seem that hard, tho on my budget ($0) I’d have to forgo true streaming.
