Can’t believe that I never made a ‘blog post about these. Back in March I picked up some “A-DATA Super SD Duo” 2GB cards from Newegg. Here’s a picture:
I don’t understand why these combo SD/USB cards never really caught on. I’ve replaced all of my regular SD cards with these and keep a spare in my Piel Frama Treo case. Besides the inherent benefit of never needing a card reader there’s the added bonus of having a tiny “USB thumb drive” available at all times (if you find me with neither phone nor camera, I’m probably naked and have no need for a thumb drive).
