The other night I was on a very long call with an old friend that I hadn’t heard from in quite a while. Every so often the phone would vibrate, and like my first iPhone annoyance post there was nothing on the screen to indicate why. It wasn’t another call, or an SMS. My best guess is that the phone was still sucking down e-mails over WiFi but since I often have unread messages on iPhone it’s hard to know for sure.
This was my first time noticing the proximity detector, which turns the screen off when it’s close to your face and back on again when you pull it away. That is actually pretty darned cool.
I’m going to post one annoying thing about iPhone every day until I run out.
