Was doing some heavy downloading the other night and thought I’d follow-up on my previous PowerBoost post. Here’s what it looks like on the bandwidth graph:
The peak of 29Mbps sure seems impressive, and on occasion I’ve actually seen it go quite a bit higher, but the duration is so short that the overall effect is negligible. The whole thing begs the question — why isn’t Comcast selling higher speed tiers? I would gladly pay double for 30Mbps service. Especially if it came with a nice bump in upstream…
