One of the unintended side-effects of not using cash anymore is that the large bills in my wallet never become smaller bills, eventually leaving me with no ones to use in the soda machine at work and depleting the stash of quarters I kept in my desk drawer.
So I went to the bank to deposit my excess cash and withdraw a few rolls of quarters. The cashier looked at me like I was retarded when I asked how many dollars are in a roll of quarters ($10), and then had to disappear into the back room to retrieve them…
