Me
I am Timothy Bryce Yehl. I’ve been known by my middle name for as long as I can remember. I respond to Timothy, but not Tim — my parents did not give me that name.
My background is in Technical Support and Systems Administration for Internet-related companies. From 1997-2001 I worked for Verio in a number of roles relating to their Windows NT-based web hosting products, in Boca Raton, Florida and Neutraubling, Germany. Since 2003 I’ve worked for Interland’s Dedicated Web Hosting division in Miami, which was spun-off and sold to Peer 1 Network in September of 2005. Presently I head our team of Windows Product Engineers.
Besides being fluent Windows, I am moderately conversational in Linux, BSD, and Irix, and am always working to expand my knowledge. On a more personal level, I’m into gadgets, autocrossing, and transforming my 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero from a mild-mannered sport wagon into an all-out 350+ whp beast.
While pretending to be a programmer, I unleashed Pocket Blog and the Radio Re-direction Tool upon the weblog community. Please accept my apologies.
Presently I live near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I’d rather live someplace where the real estate market isn’t so hot. Or go back to Europe for a while. I love Prague.
