PSP Stopped Charging

My PSP has stopped charging the battery or otherwise acknowledging that it’s plugged in. There’s no LED on the charger so I can’t tell if it a dud A/C brick or the PSP itself.
I’ve become totally addicted to Need for Speed, so this is a major bummer.
